Something about gov procurement in Ukraine

This item explains the characteristics of government procurement, challenging government tender, provides practical directions to enhance performance in state procurement.

In order to avoid of abuse in the market of gov tenders, to creation of competitive environment and to escape corruption, the Government has introduced lawgiving mechanisms of regulation of state tendering process. Over the past five years, legislation and, accordingly, the rules in government procurements have changed a few times. The existing law of public procurement contains a provision on equal participation in procurement process, both domestic and foreign manufacturers, creating a competitive environment and providing efficient use of public money.
